This is who we are

I, Ante Žeravica, wife Katarina and sons Antonio, Marko and Marin are engaged in breeding and promotion of the breed Croatian Sheepdog.

For us, the Croatian Sheepdog is a dog in which we found a guardian, a friend, faithful companion and dog that can be petted for hours, unobtrusive, modest, obedient, very intelligent dog. At first, we had Croatian Sheepdogs to help with domestic animals where they proved to be excellent partners in the work. Because of all the above we decided to breed and promote the breed in Croatia and worldwide, wanting to bring everyone closer to the breed.

With enough active life contents, Croatian Sheepdog will faithfully and happily follow the owner everywhere, like a shadow, and be their most vigilant guardian, most reliable protector and best friend.

They are extremely reliable, committed and loyal to one owner and his family, caring and gentle towards children and very tolerant towards other pets. They are very cooperative so it is easy to teach and train them, but it requires a solid and consistent upbringing. It is up to the owner to channel theirs strong energy properly, but as they love to work and perform various tasks, this should not be a major problem. The Croatian Sheepdog is characterized by exceptional endurance, resistance to disease, modesty and unpretentiousness in terms of diet and posture, but provided that it is given the right opportunity for a lot of movement on a daily basis.

It is desirable that they live in a house with a yard – and, thanks to the good and thick fur, they will not be bothered by even the greatest heat or cold. Of course, they will have no problem staying in the apartment, but preferably in families who are big fans of staying in nature, recreationists and athletes who will take them out for at least one long walk every day.

In 2016 we registered a kennel called ĐAKOVAČKA – FCI 105/16
Careful selection and selection of only top dogs for breeding after
7 years, we have top results behind us, we have 3 European Champions and we have 1 World Champion and numerous State Champions.

Since 2017, at major competitions, the dogs of the kennel Đakovačka have regularly won the titles of the best, to mention:
